Confounding with her mother, REH —”her” spelt backwards — builds a welcoming, less intimidating liquor store with women in mind. Claire’s life changed when her year 9 art teacher inspected her sketchbook and announced to the class with great pride “Claire would be a terrific artist.. If she had any hand-eye coordination whatsoever”. Shortly after that moment, Claire dropped the oil pastels and moved onto the camera, something with dials and buttons.
